Ingebord Bachmann (1926-1973), the most important German-speaking lyric poet of the 1950's and 60's would have celebrated her 80th birthday this year. Especially in Austria, the character and work of Ingebord Bachmann are at the center of cultural interest. On BACHMANvertont (set to music) the Haydn Trio Eisenstadt has recorded contempory compositions that refer to texts written by Ingebord Bachmann.
